Portal for Government Information:
SINGOV is the "Government" component of the Singapore Government Online. It serves as a convenient launch pad for users to locate information on the Singapore Government - such as government news and policies, leadership and bureacracy, official statistics put out by the government, as well as details and contact information of public service agencies. SINGOV not only acts as a gateway, it also highlights important information.
Singapore Government Crisis Gateway:
Since 1 September 2004, SINGOV is also the gateway for the public to locate crisis and emergency-related information provided by the government, both during peacetime and actual crisis.
Design Philosophy
SINGOV has been designed in a simple and clean manner to help you find the information you need quickly and easily. The homepage presents as much relevant information as possible without overwhelming the visitor with links.

Per month, the portal receives:
more than 120,000 unique visitors
more than 300,000 pageviews for homepage
approx 500,000 pageviews for entire site
approx 40% of visitors are from outside of Singapore
History
The Singapore Government website first came online in 1995. It adopted the brand name "SINGOV" in 2001. SINGOV was repositioned in October 2004 as part of the Singapore Government Online for better integration with the other major government gateways such as eCitizen and Business Town.

SINGOV is administered by the National Marketing Division, MICA
(Ministry of Information, Communications and
