As a low-lying island nation, there is much at stake for us, as the world increasingly faces the effects of climate change. In Budget 2020, the Government has outlined measures to address the threat of climate change and build a sustainable Singapore for future generations.

This includes measures aimed at reducing emissions and energy consumption, such as the HDB Green Towns Programme and the introduction of incentives to adopt environmentally-friendly options, such as electric vehicles and energy-efficient appliances.
