The Singapore Government continues to invest in our economic transformation and infrastructure, so that Singaporeans can enjoy a vibrant, connected and endearing home.

From 2011 to 2016, we invested $68 billion in public infrastructure. This includes the building of flats, expanding our public transport network, and replacing our aging infrastructure.

To improve Singaporeans’ quality of life, the Government has been building more affordable housing, rejuvenating neighbourhoods, and creating more green recreational spaces.

In addition to enhancing local connectivity across our towns and communities, Singapore is also developing our international links to drive opportunities for businesses, jobs and growth. We are expanding Changi Airport, building a new Tuas mega port, the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail, and the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System Link.
