Helping companies transform and grow through enterprise development
Find out how the LEDS will be strengthened to encourage innovation and nurture industry cluster-based projects.

As part of the Ministry of Manpower’s (MOM) efforts to help companies transform and grow, the Lean Enterprise Development Scheme (LEDS) will be strengthened.
Speaking in Parliament on Monday, 6th March, Minister of State for Manpower Teo Ser Luck said that the aim was to make innovation more pervasive and nurture more industry cluster-based projects.
SUPPORTING DEVELOPMENT OF “CLUSTER” SOLUTIONS
In order for LEDS to help entire industry clusters, the Government will support “cluster” solutions. Such solutions will be pre-qualified by IMDA and sector agencies to be capable of driving productivity improvement, skills development and innovation across the industry.
Engagement: MOM will continue to work with a network of 18 LED multipliers to reach out to more companies and industries. Roadshows will also be organised for solution providers to showcase their solutions to companies. The LED Taskforce will also work closer with industries such as hospitality, landscape and cleaning.
Access: Ready access for companies to pre-qualified solution providers.
Support for faster deployment: The MOM will grant pre-qualified solution providers temporary manpower support under LEDS. The temporary manpower support will only be granted to solution providers who have considered Singaporeans for these job opportunities and have to bring in more foreigners temporarily to meet a skills, timing, or numbers gap.
