[Updated 4 July 2022]

As Singapore resumes normal activities, it is important to protect vulnerable groups who are at higher risk of falling severely ill from COVID-19.

The Expert Committee on COVID-19 Vaccination (EC19V) had previously recommended that the following groups receive a second booster dose, around five months after their first booster:

  • Seniors aged 80 years and above;
  • Persons living in aged care facilities; and
  • Medically vulnerable persons at higher risk of severe COVID-19

Additionally, seniors aged 60 years and above who have not received their first booster are strongly recommended to take their booster doses without delay, to stay protected against severe illness.

To make it even more convenient, Mobile Vaccination Teams (MVTs) have been deployed to selected heartland locations for seniors to get vaccinated and boosted. For more details, go here.

Joint Testing and Vaccination Centres (JTVCs)

All eligible persons may walk into any of the JTVCs located in Singapore to take their vaccination and booster shots. They may also book an appointment at the JTVCs, participating Public Health Preparedness Clinics (PHPCs) and polyclinics via their SMS invitation.
