From 2015 to 2019, $51 billion has been invested to ensure every Singaporean has access to affordable and quality healthcare.

No Singaporean will be denied access to affordable and quality healthcare, regardless of their circumstances. The new CHAS Green card and subsidised “Screen For Life” health screenings provide greater peace of mind for Singaporeans’ healthcare needs.

Schemes like the $4,000 MediSave grant and subsidies for newborns help ensure that our youngest Singaporeans are taken care of, while families can care for their elders with the Home Caregiving Grant and Project Silver Screen. The revised income criteria for healthcare subsidies also improves healthcare access for the most vulnerable.

More hospitals, polyclinics, nursing homes and eldercare centres will also be built, so that Singaporeans can access healthcare services closer to their homes.

Let us make each day better, together.
