There are online articles circulating regarding the next-generation ERP system. They contain inaccuracies.

As announced by LTA in June 2019, there will be an 18-month transition period for the switchover during which there will be no change to the current way of charging ERP.

As for the implementation timeline, it has been affected by COVID-19 and LTA is assessing the extent of the delay. It will update vehicle owners in due course.

Does the Government have a population target, e.g. 10 million?
