Those in the cleaning, security, or landscape sectors will also benefit from the Progressive Wage Model (PWM), which maps out a clear career pathway for workers to earn more wages through training and improvements in productivity and standards.

Supporting low-wage workers - Eligible workers who earn $2,300 or less a month can also receive additional support of up to $4,000 a year in cash and CPF top-ups through the Workfare Income Supplement (WIS). By supplementing wages, the WIS not only helps low-wage workers cover their daily expenses, but also encourages them to build up their savings for their retirement needs.
