What is SERT?

The Singapore Economic Resilience Taskforce (SERT), chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong, was established to help businesses and workers navigate today’s economic challenges while charting a long-term strategy for economic transformation. Working closely with tripartite partners, SERT develops targeted support measures and strategies to strengthen Singapore’s economic resilience.
Since April 2025, SERT has worked with over 3,000 Singaporeans to identify immediate challenges, and review and enhance support measures. Read more about SERT.

Support for Businesses, Workers & Fresh Graduates
Economic Strategy Review (ESR)

The Government has embarked on an Economic Strategy Review (ESR) under SERT to ensure Singapore thrives in the new global economic landscape, and to secure good opportunities for our businesses and workers. Working with tripartite partners, the ESR will focus on 5 key areas:
Strengthening Singapore's Global Competitiveness
Leveraging Technology and Innovation
Nurture Entrepreneurship
Enhance Human Capital
Managing Impact of Restructuring
Each key area will be led by a different committee, comprising public and private sector representatives and unions. Read more about ESR.
