GRIT@Gov (opens in new tab), coordinated by the Public Service Division (opens in new tab) (PSD), provides fresh graduates with traineeship opportunities within public sector agencies.
How do GRIT and GRIT@Gov support fresh graduates?
Designed to support fresh graduates amid economic uncertainties, the programmes help participants gain hands-on, industry-relevant experience through structured on-the-job training, while preparing them for a smoother transition into full-time employment.
Through the programmes, participants can:
Gain valuable industry experience through structured traineeships
Strengthen their employability and readiness for full-time roles
Receive monthly traineeship allowance from $1,800 to $2,400
When were the GRIT Programmes launched?
The Government launched the GRIT Programme in October 2025, offering 800 structured opportunities across the public and private sectors. The initiative helps fresh graduates gain industry experience, develop practical skills, and strengthen their employability.
