By entering the contest, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. The gov.sg (opens in new tab) NDP Tickets Giveaway Contest 2026 on Facebook and Instagram (the “contest”) is organised by the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (“MDDI”) and is open to all Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents. Employees of MDDI, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, are not eligible to participate in the contest.

2. The contest starts on 9 July 2026 and ends 16 July 2026, 11.59 pm, UTC +8.  All entries must be received by 16 July 2026, 11.59 pm, UTC +8.

3. By submitting an entry, you (hereinafter also referred to as the "Contestant") represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept as final and binding, the decisions of MDDI in relation to this contest.

4. Your entry must fulfil all contest requirements, as specified in these Terms and Conditions and the contest posts, to be eligible to win. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to these terms and conditions or any other rules or specifications issued by MDDI, may, at any time and at any stage of the contest, at the sole discretion of MDDI, be disqualified from the contest.

5. To enter:

  6. The Winners will be required to complete an online form confirming their social media handles, names and their NRIC numbers. This will be verified upon collection of the prize. Winners will have to collect their tickets in person from Old Hill Street Police Station (MDDI HQ) by 24 July 2026. NDP tickets are strictly not for sale and should not be purchased through unauthorised channels. 

6. You warrant that your entry is original and has been created by you.  By submitting the entry, you further agree to be liable to MDDI in respect of any violation, infringement or alleged infringement by you, of the confidentiality, patent, copyright or any other intellectual property rights of any other party. You further agree to indemnify and hold MDDI harmless from and against any actions (including third party actions), claims, loss or damages that MDDI may suffer or incur as a result of any such violation, infringement or alleged infringement.

7. Each person may only submit one entry through one account on each platform. Where MDDI becomes aware of multiple entries from one person (whether through a single or multiple accounts) on a platform, MDDI will consider only the first entry that has been submitted by that person in accordance with these terms and conditions.

8. Entries must meet all terms and conditions, contest requirements and eligibility criteria specified in these Terms and Conditions and the contest posts in order to be considered.

9. Five winners (the “Winners” and each a “Winner”) (1 from Facebook, 4 from Instagram) will be chosen randomly. 

10. The Winners will each receive a pair of tickets to the 1st preview of the National Day Parade on 25 July 2026 (the “prize”). Winners will be contacted via Direct Message on Facebook and Instagram by the gov.sg (opens in new tab) team by 19 July 2026. The Winners will be required to complete an online form confirming their social media handles, names and their NRIC numbers. This will be verified upon collection of the prize.

11. If any Winner does not respond to MDDI’s message (as described in term 10 above) within 24 hours, MDDI reserves the right to award that Winner’s prize to the next qualifying Contestant. The results and all decisions made by MDDI are final and binding, and MDDI shall not entertain any correspondence in this regard.

12. The Winners’ social media handles, names and their NRIC numbers will be verified upon collection of the prize, based on their data submitted via FormSG.

13. Winners must collect their prizes from MDDI at 140 Hill St, Singapore 179369, within the period of 20 July – 24 July 2026, between 10am-6pm. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the affected Winner’s prize. 

14. Subject to clause 15 below, any personal Information provided by you for purposes of the contest, will be protected in accordance with the Singapore Government Privacy Policy (opens in new tab).

15. You understand and agree that:

(a) MDDI, or anyone acting on behalf of MDDI, shall have the right to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, for the next two years and throughout the world, without limitation, your entry, for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes, without need for compensation, notice, review, or consent; 

(b) MDDI, or anyone acting on behalf of MDDI, may use your name, image, identification, entry, as well as other statements/comments made by you in relation to the contest, for the purpose of announcing the Winners, or for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes, without need for any compensation, notice, review or consent; 

(c) You shall waive any moral rights or rights of identification that you may have in your entry or any part thereof, in respect of any use, publication or dissemination of your entry (or any part thereof) by MDDI in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.  

In the event of any conflict between this clause 15 and clause 14 above, the provisions in this clause 15 shall take precedence to the extent of such conflict. 

16. MDDI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest should virus, bug, non-authorised human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond MDDI’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the contest. In such case, MDDI may select the Winners from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by MDDI. MDDI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the contest or violates these terms & conditions.

17. You agree to release and hold harmless MDDI and its advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) your participation in the contest and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the contest; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the contest.

18. MDDI reserves the right at any time, to change, modify or supplement these Terms and Conditions or any part thereof. The changed, modified or supplemented Terms and Conditions shall be posted here.
